About Us At Walnut Valley Trailer Sales

I am Ted W. Lewis Sr., and this is my wife Ann. We have 3 children Ted Jr., Jessica and Emily.

We have been riding, training, hauling, breeding, showing, buying and selling horses for most of our lives.

Hauling horses led us to selling horse trailers. We even transported 9 horses all the way to Europe in the summer of 1997.

This is us waiting on the vet in Amsterdam. These are the "cans", as they call them - each of the 3 holds 3 horses, with full dividers.

Here are our Russian friends with their stallion.

The 2 representatives of the Russian buyer stayed with us for 2 months during the arduous task of selecting and buying the 9 horses.

They are pictured here with the Russian Bibles we gave them while they were here.

This is Emily - and Lucille. Gentle training! Lucille (a loved mule) spent the summer in "training" - Owned by our friends, Bill and Jane Moore.

Our training methods are dedicated to quiet and mannerly horses who are treated with love and respect.

We also like pleasure driving, and our years of experience led us to design a safe, comfortable and exciting pleasure carts - tough enough for training.

Our favorite pastime is trail riding and showing pleasure horses.

We have only natural gaited horses, which means these horses have a smooth 4-beat gait, pleasurable for hours of comfortable trail riding or show!

Our Daughters, Jessica and Emily (ages 16 and 18) have been highly successful in competing in the 4-H horse events.

We live in the heart of Tennessee, in Shelbyville, where the World Celebration of the Tennessee Walking Horse is held annually

We have horses which are naturally gaited.

In addition, we have numerous contacts which allow us to look for particular horses a person might be looking for, that perhaps we do not presently have on the farm.
